I believe that deep down inside of each and every one of us, is a passion for something. One thing that have I have always enjoyed is listening to people talk about whatever they are passionate about. I love it when I get to see someone's eyes light up as they describe what they love to do. I think these things that we are so passionate about are our callings. Finding way's to do things we are passionate about is vital to a fufilled and satisfied life. Like King Soloman described in Ecclesiastes, there is a time for everything. My life has been full of different seasons. This website is to hopefully give you a bit of a picture of what some of those seasons have been. It's also meant to teach you a little bit of some of the stuff I've learned along the way.

I am very lucky at my job, to be able to be a part of a some community organizing.  I have started to be invovled with meetings assoicated with the Pasco Discovery Coalition.  I've just started, so I am very much in the learning phase of participating in their coalition, but I believe it will be a valuable learning experience.

The culturally competent practitioner is one who has moved from being culturally unaware to being aware and sensitive to his or her own cultural heritage and to valuing and respecting difference

Quite likely, the simplest definition of culture is any shared beliefs and values. This definition lets culture be identified from the micro family level to the larger macro national level.

My name is Jacob Rodman Campbell VSP (the VSP stands for "Very Special Person" which is my given name and on my birth certificate). If you know me in a professional setting you might also see MSW on my name (Master's of Social Work) which is my professional degree. This website is a kind of playground for me. It was born out of being interested in graphic and webdesign and just wanting to learn how to do it.
