Mental Health Case Manager and Mental Health Therapist and Intake Specialist

As a Mental Health Case Manager I worked with mentally ill persons of all ages and ethnic backgrounds. All of the clients come from a diverse set of social and environmental situations. I utilized various treatment modalities to assist my clients in reaching their goals and being successful. As a Mental Health Therapist and Intake Specialist I specialised in working with adolecents incarcerated at the juvenile detention center. I would evaluate clients at the juvenile detention facility if they met axis to care and assign them to a clinician or if appropriate to myself to improve coninum of care.

As a residential advisor I worked with homeless youth, runaways, and families in crisis in the Spokane Region. I worked with youth through individual, group, and family counseling. I applied for grants, created a client database, acted as shift leader, facilitated staff training, etc.

Residentail Advisor and Shift Leader

Jubilee is a boy’s ranch for at-risk teens in Prescott WA. As a residential advisor, I facilitated a small group of boys, working on personal goals and maintaining parental contact. During my time at Jubilee, I was routinely placed as the shift leader (this includes completing paperwork, making decisions regarding dealing with difficult situations, assigning jobs…etc).

Intern

The Master's Commission is a leadership training and discipleship school. I was both a student and then transitioned into an intern. As an intern, I helped coordinate many of the activities, working with the curriculum, etc.
