One of the textbooks for my Summer class this semester. Coming out in 2016, it is a bit dated, but it is still excellent. It is full of impactful accounts that can be eye-opening if you have not been exposed to this type of information. Recognizing that the sweeping legislation passed by this administration on the 4th, the book highlights the importance of services like SNAP, which have seen severe cuts. My only hope is that as we rebuild, we build them even better and stronger.
