Unit Introduction and What You Will Learn
Week two is an asynchronous week for SOWK 590. Students continue to work at the practicum and will submit their weekly journal.
Learning Objectives: Students will analyze their practicum experience, reflecting on how it connects to their development and demonstration of competence.

Monthly Practicum Hours Log
You will submit your hours as a report in the ELC. I expect to have them signed and ready for me to review by the 15th of the month (Tuesday 9/15/26 before 5:00 PM). I suggest submitting it as soon as you can, and then reviewing with your supervisor in supervision to make sure it gets signed. You can find it in the Experiential Learning Cloud (ELC). You can also see the handout I shared, Tracking Time in ELC and Hour Reports.
Weekly Reflective Journals
Submit your W-02 A-02 Weekly Reflective Journals in the ELC by Monday 9/7, 8:00 AM.
Learning Contracts
You should still be working on developing your learning contract. I suggested that we have our first site visit in the next couple of weeks.
