hackneyed

While reading Frankl (1992), I came across hackneyed as a new word. I kind of wonder if this term is like hacking or modifying something, but done so much that it it is overused. Also, I origionally added this word in August 27th of 2019. I tried adding it again and it failed (because it was already here). Now I have picture and source (not sure the first source though).
